Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
The day began with breakfast and an early sail in which the sailing catamaran “good times” got really close on the way out of port, and the moment Will, Alex, Niko, Max, and I had been waiting for, and a barrage of eggs took to the sky and rode them with yokes and shells, and they fell off. We arrived at an anchor next to the Ocean Star (AQ Seamester program), and good times came at us at full speed. We braced for a flurry of eggs, but instead, they turned and circled around Ocean Star and started to exchange eggy fire. Erica did a backflip off the dinghy. Then we were on a dinghy on our way to Salt Island for a hike, and the views from the tops of the cliffs were stunning. Back on the sailboat, we took the theoretical sailing test, and everyone passed. We all ate chicken salad sandwiches then we headed to Second Wind (our dive boat) to dive on, in my opinion, one of the biggest highlights of the trip, the RMS Rhone (link to the ship on Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RMS_Rhone). We all got to dive and swim between the propeller, which Maddie and Caroline said was the highlight of their day and the hall, and it was the coolest thing ever. Macy and Ariana saw a shark, Bridget and Ariana got scuba certified, and then we headed Back to the cat just in time for breakfast for dinner consisting of pancakes and sausage made by Alex and Casey.
