Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
This morning started around 3 am for many of us. Ari, Macie, Alex, Niko, Jon, Maddy, Casey, and Cara (staff member) loaded up in the dinghy and headed out to the boat Nomada to prank them. First, we changed the name from Nomada Carribia to Nomada Estupida. Then we built a sand castle on their kitchen table. After getting caught by their head staff member and dinghied back to Avizia, we went to sleep. Then we and the rest of the crew woke up at 7 am with French toast preparing to start our first race of the day. We headed for the starting line and raised our sails. However, minutes into the race, we realized our dinghy was left behind. Having to rescue the dinghy, Cara jumped into the water while our skipper Max picked her up with the catamaran. Unfortunately, we lost the race but got to spend a couple of hours on land. Bridget, Caroline, Max, Will, and Erica ate at Pussers, a local restaurant. After eating and doing some shopping, the crew headed back to the boat for our second race of the day, where we placed fifth. We ended the evening rafting with Meow(another boat in the fleet) and had tacos for dinner as well as cake for Macie’s birthday. The crew is excited for tomorrow.
