The first part of any AQ Adventure is all about learning the ropes and acclimatizing to an entirely new way of life out on the water.
As you and your team shift roles and responsibilities aboard, you’ll quickly realize that our summer camps are pretty different from being at home. Scuba and sailing classes, meal prep and clean-up, setting and striking sails, raising and dropping anchor…
Days fly by, your confidence grows, and before you even realize it, you and your team are ready to take charge, with your instructors taking the back seat.
No matter which of our summer programs you choose, your previous experience or the vessel that you call home, you and your team will take the helm of your own experience. As you experience our adventure camp activities, you’ll alternate roles each day from Skipper to Chef, Navigator to Mate and to roles that simply support the success of others.
The responsibility is designed to present challenges, and with our staff as facilitators, overcoming them holds a very real possibility of having a profound impact on who you are, what you believe in and what you consider important in life.
