Location: Marina Cay

Today the crew got a very needed, slight sleep-in. It was the first time we weren’t woken up to the song of Bikini Bottom Day. Mora and Ryan made a delicious breakfast of pancakes with Nutella. Shortly after cleanup, we began the sailing day. We were split into three groups of 4, and we took turns jibing and tacking, therefore creating sailing circles. We used our knowledge of the points of sail to help us with this. The groups of four were Isabel, Jace, Caroline, Emma, then Natalie, Teddy, Calvin, Mora, and finally Leah, Anton, Ryan, and Robby. Each group did a spectacular job working together and successfully completed the task. For lunch, we stopped at a nice location with beautiful views and had some chicken sandwiches. We all went for a quick swim while Matty P played his playlist that he had created with songs that were requested from the group. Then we sailed for another hour to our final anchorage for the night. We all enjoyed spending time together making friendship bracelets. When we arrived and anchored the boat, it was time for showers. Many of us were hesitant because of the large amount of jellyfish present. For dinner, we had beef stroganoff, and Teddy slipped down the stairs and dropped his bowl in the ocean. No worries, he is fine now, but the bowl is in the depths of the ocean—another great sail day in the books for Meow or Never.
