Hi everyone, it’s Michelle! Most of us were woken up by the boat across from us, with the dive master candidates doing a practice rescue scenario at 5:50 am, meaning a very early wake-up for the vast majority of our boat. After this, we had breakfast burritos for breakfast made by Kaya and Dillon. We hadn’t had them yet, and we were all presently surprised that they were very good. While we were eating, our laundry was picked up on one of the dinghies to be taken to be cleaned. We are all so excited to get our laundry back and to have fresh, clean clothes. We then headed out to Gap Year to go diving while Gap Year took our boat on a sail. We completed confined water and open water two today. We then had grilled cheese for lunch.
After that, we took our final diving exam, which we all passed! After, Emma gave us a sail chat and taught us how to make anklets. Carlie, Sahil, Alivia, Laural, Arthur, and I were all trying to learn how to make anklets, but Emma ended up making them for Laural, Grace, and River. Meanwhile, Avery, Dillon, Kaya, and Grace enjoyed swimming in the ocean. During all this, Leila napped because she wasn’t feeling well. We were then finally able to go back to our boat to shower and have Thanksgiving dinner. When looking for her towel, Grace found it in the toilet and had to find another towel to dry off after showering. Mike (the owner) and his sister came over for dinner. After dinner, we had an activity in which we selected old pictures that reminded us of ourselves. To celebrate everyone passing their final diving exam, Kaya Dillon Avery and Carlie are making everyone brookies. We will probably stay up later, snaking and talking tonight.
