I would like to address my shipmates as I write this blog, because as I reminisce about our time together I feel a sharp pang because it’s all coming to the end. We had our biggest race today, from The Bight at Norman Island to Road Harbor and then onto the finish line at Great Harbor, Peter Island. I think the race showed perfectly, just how far we’ve come together as a team, all of us working cohesively and effectively to come in third across the finish line. It has been an honor to crew and learn beside all of you and I have enjoyed your company immensely. Sailing aboard Wind Shadow has been some of the most fun I’ve ever had and I have made memories here that I will cherish forever. From the hikes to the squeezes to our dives I feel like I have gotten to know each and every one of you as well as someone can in the course of just a few short weeks, and some of you, I feel, I have gotten to know even better. As we all go back to our homes and our lives outside of ActionQuest, I would like you all to know that you have made a difference and an impact in my life, and probably the lives of all our shipmates aboard our boats.
