Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today, we started our day with oatmeal made by today’s chefs, Maren and Morgan. After breakfast, we got ready for our first dive today in White Bay, where we did our navigation dive. Alex and Jackson were buddies, Charlotte and Lilah, Andrée and Fynn, and Casey and I were buddies. During the navigation dive, we had to count our kick cycles and navigate back and forth with a compass.
After the first dive, we sailed to Cooper Island, where Andrée was steering the boat for our first underwater naturalist dive. During the dive, we saw two nurse sharks! Hugo spotted a fish hunting another fish, and we saw a lobster and a few small shrimps. After the dive, we went swimming. Lilah and Casey were taking pictures, and Morgan, Alex, and Jackson were jumping off the side of the boat. Finally, we sailed to Savannah Bay for dinner and will have a movie night before bed.
