Location: Vixen Point, North Sound
Hiiiii!!! Today was a rotation day. We woke up around seven and quickly ate breakfast before prepping for our 8 am dinghy dive. Bryce and Wiley helped get all the tanks ready to go while everyone else boarded the dinghies. We did a difficult navigation dive in mercury water. My group (Wiley, Molly, and Julia) did an amazing job navigating with our compasses while diving. After diving, we did testing, which was so fun. Arthur killed it all by himself while the others (Maia, William, and Alexandre) had fun flipping theirs. For lunch, we ate Mac and Cheese and reapplied LOTS of sunscreen for our long day in the sun. We went to the beach and spent a few hours paddle boarding and chillin. Wiley and Alexandre had a fun
time battling on the paddle boards while Bryce and Anna chilled on the beach. We finally came home after a long day and took our ocean showers while Nathan and Gabe prepared my favorite meal, Veggie burgers with beans and mashed potatoes. We were lucky enough to have Mike (Head of AQ) join us for dinner and tell us many stories. Now we are cleaning up for the night, and Julia is adding hair wraps to the girl’s hair.
