Hi, I’m Jack, and I was skipper today.
We started the day off with oatmeal. Today was a rotation day, and we got to do water sports, paddleboarding and zesting, dive chat, and snorkeling. Our boat started with snorkeling in the mangroves, where Ellie, Sipora, and Sophia saw cool fish. The mangroves were a very cool area with lots of otherworldly-looking animals. We then had a dive chat where we learned how to use a depth chart. Henry and Owen were able to help the group to answer confusing questions. Then we had lunch, and today was deli sandwiches. We then moved on to water sports, where Ella did wakeboarding multiple times. Ellie, Evie, and Makena tried water skiing for the first time. Some people decided to rest on the boat during this time to get a good nap. After that, we moved on to the zesting, which was very chaotic. The wind was very strong, so the zests were going very fast. Robert and I capsized many times and couldn’t seem to catch the wind. We eventually got towed in. Miles and Ben were having quite the difficulties, and they managed to capsize many times. They had to be towed in as well. By the end of the day, everyone was very tired, but Sophia helped to make a great dinner for Mexican night. We finished washing the dishes with some great music. To end the night, we had a dive chat.
