Hey everyone! We had an awesome day today. We started by waking up very early to prepare for the treacherous hike ahead of us. We had a simple breakfast of cereal and oatmeal to save time, and eventually, we took a dingy over to the dock where we were staying. Once we all gathered at the docks and Mike gave us a briefing about the hike, and we finally set off. William and Arthur took the lead and got up to the top in the first 20 people. Everyone else took their time and made it up to the peak at their own pace (walking 135 flights of stairs and 26,000 steps). We went from sea level all the way up to 1716 feet. Up on top, there was a little shop with very delicious banana smoothies that rewarded the long uphill hike. After the shop, if you continued hiking, you could take a slippery, muddy road that led to a lookout with a book where one could sign their name. After reaching the top, we all set back on the same road to get down into the small town of Cane Garden Bay. After a delicious lunch and some shopping, we returned to the boat. Back on the boat, we had planned to sail out to the anchorage where we were going to hold our BBQ, but due to the incoming storm, we had to wait. Once the weather had finally come through, we set sail and made our way to the BBQ spot. We anchored and started to prepare for the BBQ. With our best clothes on, we took a final picture before we took a dingy into the dock. At the BBQ, there was an awesome little shop that stood next to the place we were eating at.

In the shop, you could find rash guards, shirts, tanks, and hats with awesome designs. Anna, Wylie, and Gabe all bought some awesome pieces. For dinner, we had some delicious jerk chicken with pasta salad. After dinner, we made our way to the dance floor, where Lainey, Maia, Molly, and Julia tore it up. Along with dancing, we had the option to paint our nails, where Nathan, William, Wylie, and Alexander all got their nails done. We also could get braided by some of the locals. Bryce and Wylie both got what they call the butterfly braid (two small braids in front that look like antennae). After all those fun activities, we eventually made another dingy ride home to our boat, where we quickly fell asleep after such a long day.
