Today was another rotation day. We started the day with yogurt and bagels and a relaxed morning, which Eloise, Ella, and I slept through but got woken up before the first activity; a hike around the island, which we had to swim to. Pablo and Diego hiked without shoes and stepped on many cactuses (they are okay), and made lots of jokes. After this, we ate an amazing crispy grilled cheese cooked by Jake and the chefs of the day. After cleaning up, we headed over to the next activity, wakeboarding/skiing. Ella, Diego, and JJ went on the first boat and managed to do 360s on the kneeboard. On the second boat, Josh, Max, Tate, and Mathew did wakeboarding. Everyone else stayed on Hope and swam around the boat. The last activity was scuba diving with fish ID. After the dive, Antonio and Ben looked through the reef book to identify the fish. We saw lots of different fish like parrot fish, damsel fish, groupers, snappers, butterfly fish, and many more. Jake taught our group some cool bubble tricks and made lots of underwater jokes, such as “Hi, cold, I’m Jake” when I said I was cold. To finish the dive, we had to identify a fish that we saw and sketched in a reef fish book. All our sketches were extremely silly. To finish this spectacular day, we had burritos with ground meat, cheese, lettuce, tortillas, and sour cream. For dinner, cooked by Pablo and Diego and cleaned up using the dishy.
