Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Today, first thing after breakfast, JJ, Pablo, Diego, Matthew, and Jasmine decided to go wakeboarding and knee boarding. Diego is the main character of this show and stayed on for 3 minutes and is really good at wakeboarding. Pablo got some air on the wakeboard, but at that point, the screw came loose, so Pablo had to let go and instead did a backflip off of the wake board. JJ stayed on the kneeboard, lying down for 16 minutes straight, and they couldn’t shake him off, so after he realized he had taken enough time, he grabbed the line and let go with a smooth exit. Then Ben, Matthew, Eloise, Max, Diego, Jasmine, JJ, Ella, Josh, Pablo, and Antonio decided to go to the beach. We learned a lot about Antonio, and Jasmine was freezing cold. We then got a dinghy over back to our boat/home, Second Wind. When we got back, we got a warm welcome from Tate, who was rested up, and we had a very yummy deli meat lunch. After lunch, we went scuba diving, and we got out of the dinghy by rolling backward. Then we descended, and JJ and Ella were waiting and testing each other on signs underwater. Then JJ got paired up with Matthew, and they were tasked to do the square navigation underwater with our compass. JJ and Matthew were the best at navigating the square pattern because we got in the same spot every time that we did the square pattern. Jasmine was freezing again and we all saw upside-down jellyfish. Then we decided to head back to the boat. But then the Aquarius side of the boat had to learn about fish identification on another boat, and Eloise stayed with the barracuda side, which is JJ, Josh, Ben, and Antonio, who read about deep diving and boat diving. All of us had a good dinner, and now we are having brookies which are brownies and cookies.
