Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Breakfast this morning was oatmeal. Perhaps I was hungry, but this oatmeal was truly the best oatmeal I have ever had. After breakfast we raised the anchor and began our long awaited journey to The Baths. The Baths, while undoubtedly beautiful, harbor a dark history. We followed a path through the rock formations and came to a cliff. After much hesitation we began jumping of the cliff into the waters below. We did this until it was time to go. Our next destination, Spanishtown, was also a highly anticipated activity. Before we raised our anchor we had our first hibiclens showers and we felt super clean after showering. In Spanishtown we went to a restaurant. The food was great, but the restrooms were amazing! Afterwards we headed to an ice cream shop. Back on the boat we sailed to Mountain Point. We closed the day with an excellent dinner of chili. The highlight of the day was an encounter with dolphins swimming no more than 20 feet from our boat. The duties of our day were halted to watch a mother dolphin and her baby explore and frolic around us. P.s. at the start of the voyage the ship felt small and cramped, but now that we have grown so close, the ship has never felt larger.
