Location: Rome - Italy
Today the staff had an early day than the rest of us waking up early to get the anchor up so that we could make it to Civitavecchia on time, breakfast was beautifully made by Chapman and was a combination of porridge and a fruit salad. After breakfast, we had another sailing class. We learned about docking at ports, so that we would be able to help Ben dock the boat when we got to the port in Civitavecchia. We also learned how to tie knots. For lunch, we had grilled cheese and tomato soup. This was probably my favorite meal so far. Shortly after lunch, we docked and we allowed to explore the town. Many of us got gelato, yet again. For dinner, we had Chicken ala King and mashed potatoes, after this Carolyn gave a presentation on Rome and got us all excited about exploring the city tomorrow.
