Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Waking up in this paradise never gets old, and today was definitely not an exception. After getting out of our hammocks and eating breakfast in quite possibly the most beautiful islands in the world, we made our way to another boat in order to finish our PADI exams- one step closer to being able to explore the unknown world of the ocean. As we got to the dive site we were all extremely excited to begin our first open water dive. Although we have done confined water dives, nothing compares to being able to explore a world we have never seen. Once we finally got moving underwater, there were so many different types of fish and coral. While underwater I realized that my only references and knowledge of underwater life is from Finding Nemo and Spongebob. After the dive we made Turk’s Head anklet/bracelets and practiced man overboard drills in the sailboat. We finished our day with a Thanksgiving dinner.
