Location: Great Harbor, Jost van Dyke

Today was a really cool day. We woke up at 7 am, and on our way to shark point, we ate breakfast, delicious bagels with cream cheese and yogurt. Once we got there, we had a turtle talk for our turtle tagging day! Prepared ourselves and jumped in the water with our snorkels. Even though we didn’t catch any, we saw three and still had a great time holding on to the line attached to the dinghy. Then, hopped back on the boat to eat lunch. Hayden and Addison prepared some grilled cheese sandwiches with turkey, which were so yummy. We washed the dishes and got ready for our next dive.

For dolphins’ it was our first research dive with the groups we formed depending on our common interests. The Neptunes did their boat diver dive 2, where they got to plan their own dive. We got out of the water and chilled for a while (lots of tanning). After that, we headed to sandy spit for the second dive of the day, the moon dive. Got to do some gymnastics underwater. It was so much fun. Next, we ocean showered, and on our way to Great Harbour, we had dinner. Mac prepared a tasty Thanksgiving meal. We ended the day with our daily “squeeze”. Can’t wait to create new memories with all these amazing people. Chau!
