Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
A wonderful early morning start. How early? Too early. Waking up, I remember one vital thing, I wanna sleep. But the ocean calls, and we sail to Virgin Gorda, visiting the baths and cliff jumping as we explore between the rocks. Ending our time at the baths, we head back to the catamarans and say bye for now to our friends on other boats, taking our first Hibiclens shower of the week. What’s Hibiclens? I have no idea. Then finishing our showers, we all get into nicer clothes and step on land for the first time in 4 days, landing in Spanish town for some lunch and souvenir shopping. Once we got done at Spanish Town, we sailed to Mountain Point, where we did an afternoon snorkel and then headed back to chill, eat dinner, and prepare for our night dive on the catamaran. Then as the sun set, we all held close to our dive buddy, grabbed our lights, and jumped in for some spooky but wonderfully beautiful night diving. Using techniques we freshly learned in our PADI night divers dive books, we properly navigated and enjoyed our night dive, finally ending our day with a nice saltwater shower and brownies before bed.
