Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today in Peter’s Island, we had a very early start at 6:30 am with nutritious oatmeal for breakfast, followed by our kick cycle navigation dive! Soon after, no time was wasted before as we quickly headed to our next dive spot. The Neptune group gathered to learn about the rules of boat diving, while the Dolphin Group learned some basic Fish identification information as they eagerly awaited their dives. Some of the highlights of today’s dive at the reef were several nurse shark sitings and beautiful parrot fish! After this exciting experience, everybody was ready for some delicious PBandJs and deli sandwiches. Finally, we headed to our final destination for the day while the Neptune and Dolphin programs worked on their night dive information packets. Dolphin additionally worked on their fish identification project! After a long day of exciting dives and research efforts, the group was ready to wind down with some showers and fettuccine alfredo at Savannah Bay before doing some lifework group bonding! This amazing, fruitful day guarantees that tomorrow will have just as much to offer!
