Location: Sommer's Beach, Tortola
Hey Guys! Today we started our day off with some yummy oatmeal prepared by our chefs of the day, Lainey and Nathan. Our breakfast shortly came to an end when we had to quickly get ready and jump in the water for our first deep dive of the session. We went to a depth of around 75 ft. Wylie, Gabe, and Arthur recall seeing a big lobster and many stingrays during our dive. After our dive, we went to Avizia’s boat to paddle board, zest, and do some other water sports. The girls (Anna, Lainey, Julia, Molly, and Maia) went to do some kneeboarding. During that time, we looked over at the boy’s boat (Nathan, William, Alex, and Bryce) and saw Nathan killing it on a single ski (Slalom Skiing)! 🌊Soon after, we went back to our humble abode and were served some hot cheddar broccoli soup on a very, very hot day; such a lovely combo. After lunch, Emma led an advance sail chat and taught how some parts of the boat work, like our wonderful poop chamber. Later during the day, we took a dingy out to the beach for our second beach bbq of the session! The wet entry was worth it because the burgers were so good. Plus, the dinner came with a show presented by our beautiful, very talented Dula Mimi’s (aka Julia, Molly, Lainey, and Maia)😎👯♀️. It was a Slack-Jaw competition against four staff members, but obviously, there was no beating the Dula Mimi’s, and they were, of course, the ultimate champions of the competition. Since we were all hot and sweaty from the bbq, we ended the night having a dance party and ocean shower with our neighboring boat Avizia!
