Today was a relaxed and enjoyable day. It was nice to wake up and not have to immediately race to get ready for a dive. Instead of diving, we motored over to Avizia for an advanced sail chat and Turk’s Head anklets. While Lainey, Bryce, William, Arthur, Molly, and Anna were in an advanced sailing chat, everyone else preoccupied themselves with other activities. Down on the dingy, Wylie, Gabe, and I participated in vicious combat; everyone attempting to throw anyone that was not himself into the briny deep. After the advanced sail chat concluded, everyone attempted to tie the Turk’s Head Anklet. No one on the boat actually knew how to tie the knot except Lainey, so it was the blind leading the blind till it was time for lunch. After a tasty lunch of Mac-and-Cheese, everyone geared up for a student lead fish I.D. dive, which thankfully went smoothly except for when Emma and two other non dive staff got lost and somehow ended up in 50 feet of water. Then there were showers, which involved many involuntary ocean entries from behind. On the ride over to our current spot Maia and Julia attempted to teach William how to make friendship bracelets with varying degrees of success. Molly also got to see one of her good friends when she approached us on the dinghy during our sail. On the whole, another successor day in the BVI!
