Location: playground

Day 12 of ActionQuest! This morning, we set sail early to a dive site called the Playground. It’s characterized by coral hills and a rock point with many sharks. For the Dolphins, this was a project dive, where they collected data for their research. Lilah, Hugo, and Jackson set out on a search for feather dusters while the Neptunes had a fun dive. Ella was the first to spot two blacktip reef sharks and made sure to swim after them for amazing camera angles. Charlotte and Casey followed close behind, but her heroism was unmatched. Following, Andree made mac and cheese for lunch with the help of Maren, and the group enjoyed a nice meal together. Then came dive number 2, where we descended onto white sands around 15 feet deep. Here, we “moonwalked,” which meant we dove with additional weights, took off our fins, and walked on the floor doing tricks (including a human pyramid). Later that day, we had a beach barbecue on a small island. Earlier, while the dolphins took a marine biology test, Alex buried Morgan in the sand on that very beach, creating memories of their friendship. Overall, it was a fun day for Good Times!
