Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
We woke up to the sound of Justin Bieber blasting in our ears at 7 am. We had a wide variety of yogurts, some bagels, and cream cheese (Sloane had peanut butter). We learned about the navigation and ship system at 8 am, after we all cleaned up breakfast and Gwynnie’s party from the night before. At 10 am, we went on the dinghy to do some water sports. Sloane and Clara came for the vibes while David and Bryce hit 360s on the kneeboard and David attempted to stand. For lunch at 12 pm, Clara and Coco made grilled cheeses. Clara, of course, had to make something special on the side, and today it was spicy mayo. At 1 pm, Brycee, Blake, Sloane, Clara, Lilly, Ellery, Gwynnie, and Iris practiced diving skills in the water and saw some cool crabs. Elle, Anna, Coco, and David participated in community service by tagging turtles. At 4 pm, we all took ocean showers while Bryce and David went zesting (tiny boat sailing). We had an amazing Mexican dinner made by Coco and David. The Vega than kids took four diving quizzes. While the Vega kids did their quizzes, Anna prepared delicious brownies. After their quizzes, everyone played the tortilla slap game, which was so funny. Clara, Sloane, and Iris decided to sleep on the bow of the boat, which was so windy that all of their beds tried to fly away. Day 9 was so much fun!
