Today was Thanksgiving Day! We started off the day by waking up at 6:30 am for laundry day. We then had a boat favourite breakfast, warm, brown sugar, cinnamon oatmeal. After, we proceeded to change into our swimsuits, rash guards, and snorkels and headed over to Hope to participate in our last confined water dive! (YIPPPEEEEE!!!!!) We then came back to the boat and made anklets called Turks’ heads, which were taught by Emma. After everyone made their gorgeous matching anklets, we had lunch. Lunch today was ramen, which was SO good! We made a big pot which everyone devoured.

Some of us took some naps for the extra time we had before our next rotation. Afterwards, Will woke us all up to take our open water exam, WHICH WE ALL passed on our FIRST TRY!! After we headed back to Hope for our first open water dive. While diving, we saw a bunch of cool fish such as parrotfish (Perry fish in Clara’s words), surgeonfish, trumpet fish, butterfly fish, and angel fish. We then made a rap while waiting for Will to pick us up. We then grabbed our shower stuff from Glad 2 B Here and went to EolĂ© for an ocean shower. We headed back to our boat to change into our Pyjamas and eat a delicious Thanksgiving meal. Both Sloane and David asked questions today for skipper. Afterwards, we got our exams back and had a sail chat. Then we made brownies and went to sleep!! Today was amazing.
