Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island

We started off the morning with the best breakfast ever – pancakes. While all our facilitators were off Graytful at a staff meeting, Sally and Sedona labored for an hour to make us countless pancakes. Everyone was able to experiment with what they wanted in their pancake. There were cakes with everything from chocolate and cinnamon to Kai’s leftover brown sugar crumble mix. They were all amazing. After breakfast, Lizzie, David, Margaret, and I took the dinghy over to Under Pressure for a tank run. The trip started off slow and normal, however we quickly realized getting the tanks back onto Graytful would be a challenge due to the treacherous waves left from the many boats in the anchorage. Unfortunately, while David was lifting up a tank, an unseen wave caused him to lose balance. Luckily, he held onto the tank; however, he did come away from the fall with a cut on his toe. Stich and India swooped in, and they helped us lift the tanks and apply first aid to David’s toe. Once cleanup was over, we had some downtime, so we played cards. Claire, David, Anzie, Sedona, Lizzie, and I started by playing Egyptian rat slap, which we had to teach Claire and Lizzie. Next, Player taught us a new card game called King’s Corner. After our free time, we made our way to Trellis Bay for shore time.

We took time to look at all the shops around Trellis before sitting down for lunch. While we were walking, Anzie, Sally, and Daisy saw an old shipmate who randomly happened to be there! After shopping, we all sat down for lunch together. After lunch, Daisy, Sedona, and I stopped in the Spa where they wanted to get their nails done. Sedona and Daisy picked out a matching color, but unfortunately, we ran out of time, leaving Daisy’s nails colorless. We arrived back to Graytful and made our way over to Musk Melon Bay, where we would stay for the night. While en route, India blasted music, and Josh danced on the hard top. When we arrived, we had shower time. Since we hadn’t dived today, we were all eager to get in the water. Player threw a backflip from the transom! We then proceeded to throw around Josh’s shark ball and play around in the water. It was the most fun shower time we’ve had to date. We promptly dried off because dinner was ready, and Jake Stu came over! Ayden had also gotten back to Graytful after being away sailing with another boat all day. We had delicious chili and squeezed. After dinner and cleanup, we ended the night with some RDP review. Overall, it was a very relaxing day aboard the DM boat.

So we balled,

Jake
