Our Tropical Marine Biology camps and marine science programs, run by our staff marine biologists and oceanographers, offer a fascinating opportunity to affirm or further define your interest in this science while sailing and scuba diving on the reefs. The qualifications and certifications that you earn can also be applied toward your high school transcript, as many schools do transfer marine biology credit for these programs.

While reef awareness and underwater naturalist certifications are always part of our advanced diving programs, our marine science course reaches well beyond these specialties, offering a scientific approach for those who want to learn more. Our live-aboard program combines scuba diving and field studies with marine sciences, concentrating on building knowledge in this growing area of environmental science.
The activities and study groups are very practical in nature and our students learn by doing, seeing and experiencing those things that most students only read about in books.

AQ's Marine Biology camps are offered in the British Virgin Islands, run aboard 46-foot catamarans and 50-foot sloops, which become our home and floating classroom and lab for the duration of the voyage, so you will become proficient in sailing as you learn to navigate the yacht from island to island and site to site and you'll develop your scuba diving skills too.
