Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
The shipmates of Odyssea were awaken throughout the night because of the light rainshowers. The chefs (Sean and Caroline) woke up at 6:45 am to start making scrambled eggs and lemon poppy seed muffins, which were super yummy! At 9 am the Dolphin crew had an introduction about their marine biology classes. While the Rescue and the Neptune divers went over to Panasea for their underwater navigation lecture. After their lectures, the Dolphin and Rescue groups went out to the Sand Circles for a navigation dive. The Neptunes went to the beach for some navigation exercises. After the exercises we played some football, swim races, hanging out, and making sand castles. We returned to the boat for some tuna salad sandwiches. After lunch the Dolphins went on the island to explore and hike. Neptunes went to the Sand Circles to complete their first navigation dives, which they all rocked! After the Neptunes and Dolphins regrouped for a late afternoon waterski. And of course the best part of the day-showering! Tonight we had rice and beans with salad (when throwing onion peels overboard make sure no one’s face is in the way). The shipmates will be enjoying a night dive lecture from Matt and tomorrow is their first night dive. Super excited! Everything is grand on Odyssea and we can’t wait to see what our next adventure is.
