Today, so far, has been bittersweet. We woke up at around 640, made oatmeal, and I headed off to the skipper’s meeting with Papa Al to plan the race. The race from the Bight at Norman Island to Road Town was a lot of fun. The boat got pumped by putting on purple and white war paint. Even though no one won the race, it was a lot of fun. After the race was over, we started to pack our bags and clean the boat. Everyone is busy cleaning the fridges and cabins trying not to think about going home. Little do Doug, Al, and Roxy know that the boat has prepared a little surprise that they will be receiving right before the BBQ. It’s sad to think that this time tomorrow a lot of us will already be either at the airport or on the bus there.
