AHHHHHH HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY AMERICAAAA!!! We have had a very busy day, and it’s not even over yet! Today started with screams by the most amazing person ever (Margaret) at 6:30 AM as we had a rescue scenario. Josh and Jake quickly started kitting up their gear to hop in the water and save the unconscious diver (this is all a scenario, so the diver was still breathing). David jumped in the water in his sweatpants to try and save the worried buddy. Once we got the unconscious diver up Player started CPR on a dummy to recreate doing it on a live person. He got tired quickly, so I took over 🙂 All of that before 7 AM. Let us sleep in just a little bit more next time. After the scenario, we headed to the dive site, the Rhone, listening to some good country music to celebrate this day. We had breakfast underway to the site, so we were well fueled to get everyone excited to dive!! Daisy and Sedona led the first dive and managed to not get lost in this current, and the people they led had so much fun, which was a win. Everyone on the surface was dancing and singing to have the newly certified divers get excited. I think we all lost our voices from how many times we screamed RHONE DAY. Sitting surface on the first dive was so peaceful and fun because it was absolutely pouring on Anzie, Claire, and me, but it didn’t matter because ITS RHONE DAY and THE 4TH!!!

We had some Ramen for lunch and then got right back into diving – Kai led the next dive and said it was so much fun to see the kids’ faces light up on their first fun dive! Forgot to mention that Sally and others shotgunned energy drinks to get hype for the day. The twins (Sally and Daisy) are also matching exactly today, and said we got pranked. We motored back to GHP to anchor for the night. After anchoring, we showered and ate some YUMMY dinner, which was taco Tuesday, but it’s Thursday. Now we are going to learn about ERDP stuff (you know as much as I do about what that means – pray for me), then play card games and go to bed! ONCE AGAIN HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY RAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ps. To Mom, Dad, and the doggies – I love you guys and can’t wait to see you so soon – not possible 😉
Kisses,
