Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
This morning, we woke up super early and got ready for our second Rhone day. We all started the morning with a fun dive, and it was our first official dive as dive masters! Last night, we got initiated as dive masters after all of the sailside dive instructors poured chocolate milk down our snorkels and cheered us on as we controllably sipped it. Then we all jumped into the ocean and had a lot of fun celebrating. Anyway so, during the dive today, we had a lot of fun diving the deep part of the Rhone wreck; it was around 70 feet. I dove with Josh and Sedona, and we had a blastttt. Then we did a quick tank run and then I got ready to dive again with Anzie, Claire, and David. We led open water students around the Rhone, and it was super cool because it was their first dive as certified divers. Josh played some extremely intense “dub [step,” which, if you didn’t know, was an extremely intense and semi-overwhelming genre of music. Then, Sally, Lizzie, Josh, and Sedona all led their dives and had a lot of fun with their open waters. Then, me and Lizzie cheffed up some Mac and Cheese for lunch, which was delish. Then we all hung out, and Sally and Player went for fun dive and went thru a swim thru. Then Sedona and Josh did another fun dive. Kai and David did a fun dive together and saw a cleaner shrimp and flamingo tongues. Kai looked thru the fish book a lot today and educated us about a lot of different fish, which was super cool. Then we all chilled as we motored to GHP. Then we showered, and we were rafted to another boat, and we talked to them for a little bit. Then we had cheddar broccoli and Mac and cheese for dinner, and now we are about to write our cards for each other, which, if you do not know- is an ActionQuest tradition where each shipmate writes a card to every person on the boat, and they are really special. We are all super sad that tomorrow is our last day, but it’s Josh’s birthday, so yay.
