Today, everyone’s day began with a nice bowl of cereal as we prepared for the fun-filled day that lay ahead. We packed into the dinghy and headed off to the nearby beach. The first activity up was paddle board relay races, where the team of Brig, Freddy, Alyssa, Claire, Carson, and Tucker dominated. However, in the end, our entire crew of twelve came together to defeat the two-person staff team in a neck-and-neck race. Following the exciting battle, we took another try at the Zest boats. Although our skills seem to have been much improved due to our sail chat, the team of Brig and Catherine were the only ones not to capsize their vessel. While waiting for their turn on the Zests, Rachel, Ella, Molly, Brig, and friends from another AQ boat built an impressive turtle out of the sand. After a long morning of fun on the beach, we had all gotten quite sun-kissed, so we returned home (Odyssey) for a scrumptious lunch of macaroni and cheese. Following lunch it was time for water sports (water skiing, wake boarding, knee boarding) where the group of Rachel, Ella, Alyssa, and Greta saw a giant sea turtle. Freddy got a marvelous tan. We then embarked on a scuba to explore the mangroves where we split into groups led by dive master candidates. This was personally my favorite part of the day as we learned so much about various marine animals, and Jordan saw a baby pufferfish. After this, we returned to our boat and showered. Claire and Greta cooked a delicious dinner of veggie burgers while the rest of us tidied up the boat. After dinner, Tyler led another riveting dive chat followed by time for us to hang out or do as we please. Now time for bed. Goodnight, love ya.
