Got woken up at 7 am to the circle of life from lion king BLASTING in our ears, which really set the tone for the day. We had French toast made by today’s chefs Luke and Cobrin. We started getting ready for our first rotation, which was diving. We were all scrambling to find the right gear and went out a bit behind schedule, but nothing too terrible. Today we had a navigation dive where we had to do a few exercises with our compass. We all understood the concept, turns out we didn’t. Stich signaled us to do the first exercise, which was reciprocal navigation, which means swimming in a straight line with our compasses and returning the same way, simple enough. Matthew and I somehow found a way to mess it up and looked around for a while underwater before ascending to find our way back. Louella, Evan, and Micah got done quickly, and it took the rest of us around ten more minutes. Then we got back to our boat to find all the other kids in sail side A dancing, and Scarlett and Violet joined. Blake, Brendan, and Cobrin hit some cool tricks on the wakeboard while Luke sailed a zest to another raft and executed a perfect docking job. After a long day of paddling, we finally headed over to Leverick’s Bay, where we served ourselves burgers and hot dogs from the buffet, the DJ was playing great music, and we all started dancing. At the end of the night, we all sat down in the saloon and told each other about our nights.
