Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound

We started our day by sleeping in and eating pancakes made by today’s chefs, Louella and Daniel. After a Nutella-filled breakfast, we dove into our first rotation of the day, Dive chat! Our next rotation was water sports, such as wakeboarding and water skiing off the supper dinghy. Blake, Mathew, and Daniel showed off their wakeboard skills on a super dinghy driven by a staff member named Max. We also had Mac and Cheese for lunch, which the whole boat was grateful to come back to after shredding the waves. After lunch, our next rotation was paddle boarding.
Luke, Louella, and I “attempted” headstands on the boards after the dare of our skipper, Stich. Due to the fact that Avizia were also at the beach at their rotation, sailing the Zests During paddle boarding, we had the opportunity to get to know the students better. Scarlett made some awesome new friends! After paddle boarding, we swapped with Avizia and had a chance to sail the Zests. With Corbin as skipper and Brendon as crew, they sailed off the beach successfully and around Anchorage. Micha said zesting was his favorite part of the day. After coming back to the boat, Stich helped everyone learn to backflip off the dinghy! For the people that already knew how, such as Mathew and Evan, Stich helped them learn to throw a corkscrew. After a swim off our boat, we started ocean showers and got ready for dinner on the boat. For dinner, our cooks of the day made delicious veggie burgers, beans, and mashed potatoes. After a yummy and fulfilling dinner, we were visited by a vendor selling mango smoothies, and almost everyone got one. After an exciting visit, the dishie pit got into the action with Scarlet as Salty doing a great job!
