Hi! I’m Ella S, and today was an amazing day.

We woke up this morning to mini pancakes made by chefs Thompson and Wilkes with a secret ingredient of Kool-Aid. It tasted interesting, to say the least. Started off the day by finishing friendship bracelets and water-skiing. Ollie had an impressive wipeout and skidded the water six times. He’s a survivor, to say the least! Lucy and I had a great time slalom skiing and had fun jumping the wake. Meredith and Joshua showed off their bracelet-making skills with some amazing braiding of the lanyard. Next, we set sail to Trellis, which was a very fun ride. Hopie and Lulu bravely took the trash to the dumpsters (a job nobody was very eager to do).

We were very excited to be on land and couldn’t wait to order ice water. We stopped at this restaurant that served Mexican food, sushi, and American food. I definitely would rate it a 10/10, especially Ollie’s shrimp tempura. Josie and Grayson got recruited to be models for the restaurant and were rewarded with free lemonade! Maybe they will become famous!! After wishing to be on land all week, we were all ready to be back home on our beloved Shamwari. Everyone was very envious of Ella W after she took a refreshing freshwater shower. Even though she wasn’t a chef, Lucy cooked us tortellini with garlic bread and salad while we all took a much-needed shower. We finished off our day with an eventful squeeze and “deep clean.” Currently, we all are getting new sleepy sacks for the final stretch of our trip. To end our day, we will have a forum, a chance for us to have a conversation with each other to get to know one another even farther than we already do. I am so excited to see what everyone has to say and spend another great night with one another!
