Hi, my name is Hopie, and today we had such an amazing day. We got up bright and early today by Mike and company coming to pick up our laundry, a long awaited pick up. We had cereal for breakfast, and Ollie made us all jealous by eating the bacon that he had bought in front of us. After getting ready and putting loads of sunscreen on (you welcome, Mom), we got the dive boat and headed off to our dive destination. Once there, everyone split up into their groups and got kitted up. My group, which consisted of Wilks, Ella S., And me, and another group still had to finish their confined water dive skills, so we went off in a dingy to do so. After we completed this, we were able to dive the deewe’vewe’ve ever dove, 30 feet, along with everyone else. This was the highlight of people’s days. Joshua and Josie saw lots of fish, such as needlefish and Parrot fish, which were included in both their appreciations during the squeeze.
After we all finished our dive, we ate a delicious lunch of Ramon and prepared for the long-awaited dive final. Almost everyone passed after the first try, and thosedidn’tidn’t were able to retake it and pass. Ella W. Did extremely well, getting the highest score. We later learned how to make rope bracelets thanks to Matty P. Some people, such as Lulu and Meredith, were very talented at making them, but others, like Thompweren’tren’t fully able to grasp the concept. The rest of the afternoon on the dive boat consisted of tanning and making new friends on other boats. Once back we decided to do a deep clean because we were expecting very important guests for dinner. Lulu and I helped out by cleaning the bathroom, and the task was not very pleasant. Our dinner with Mike, the director Jim, and the founder was very pleasant and yummy. We ate Mexican food, which was very good. After dinner (now) Lucy makes us brownies which smell amazing and everyone does their jobs. Overall, today has been a very eventful and fun day.
