Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Hi parents, today we stayed anchored and visited the other boats while also going water skiing, wakeboarding, and kneeboarding. Before we all went diving, we flipped off the dinghy and jumped off the swing. Diving was very fun. Zach, Poppy, and I learned the important skills of scuba diving. We went about 10 feet deep and learned how to clean our goggles underwater and stay afloat. We all had lots of fun. Max stayed up on the wakeboard and got up on the first try. Aliya lasted the whole time kneeboarding without falling off. Later, our group visited Pirates Song or one of the other boats to go paddleboarding. Loren safely touched one of the many jellyfish we saw while just hanging out and talking on the paddle boards. While we paddle boarded, Bea and Aliya took one of the best naps of their lives.
After Xaviera, Jimena, Poppy, and I just chilled on the net in front of the boat and talked. Later, we all raided the pantry and ate Goldfish while laughing, talking, and taking pictures. We began to blast music and take our ocean showers. Lulu, Zach, Raiden, and the rest of us had a music party, blasting music, doing backflips, and shampooing our hair. Max and Jorge made Mohawks out of their hair. We all changed and had Alfredo for dinner with garlic bread, we fed some of the birds, but overall it was a good dinner, probably one of the best so far. After we did our appreciation and questions. My appreciation was being able to go to other boats and dive. The question was, if the person to your right was a color, what color would they be? I was told im teal… Anyway, after we played hide and seek, Aliya won and hid under a towel. We cleaned up while listening to music. After we went downstairs to do a self-reflection activity and made brownies, we celebrated my birthday, but also Max’s birthday tomorrow. Now we are all sitting on the deck while listening to American Pie and Vienna, while Poppy plays the harmonica, waiting for the brownies. After, we are going to play Uno while eating brownies. Hopefully, turning on the AC soon and going to sleep to go into town tomorrow.
