Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Hey Parents, Today was our first long sail day of our trip. We started the day with some breakfast pancakes that Jorge and Xaviera made. We all started to prepare for our day-long sail. We left early and sailed for four hours before our first stop for lunch and swimming. We got some cool photos of Loren, Margo, Jorge, and me flipping off the dinghy and learning different flips. Lulu and Aliya were also doing front flips with us. Will chilled while we were hanging out on the super dinghy watching the jellies swim by. Jorge, Loren, and I swam right above a huge turtle in Salt Island. We then left for our next spot, Mountain Point, for the night. On the way, Aliya gave others some henna, and we found and picked up a water cooler floating on top of the ocean. We finished our day off with some rap and house music during our ocean showers and eating chili and rice. The advanced divers, Jorge, Loren, Xaviera, Jimena, Bea, and I, are about to head to the boat “Hope” for a dive chat while the open water divers, Aliya, Poppy, Raiden, Zack, Lulu, and Margo, stay and practice setting up gear. Two girls from last year came and hung out for a bit. Goodnight
