Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay

My name is Cassia, and I am skipper today. Our day started out with delicious French toast cooked by Maxwell and Caitlin. It was very, very bustatious and got a lot of thumbs up. Following breakfast, we had a successful super clean. Mario and Adrienne were saltwater washers and did a superb job. After the superclean, we departed from our previous raft. It was a beautiful day, and everyone was excited to be out on the water. With hyper attitudes and strong attention spans, Malaku taught us the ways of sailing to get us prepared for our big race tomorrow. My group, including Adrienne and Gigi, learned to hoist the sail, man the helm, and manage the wind.

From close haul to running, we sailed in circles and soon became masters of the boat. After the adventurous times at sea, we stop to rest at a lovely beach. Playing in the water and running around in the sun was endless fun. Although calming, this rest had to come to an end. We arrived back on Meow or Never ready to focus and be awesome shipmates. We all had efficient showers, borrowing soap from friends because of the dwindling amount of supplies. Then, we helped out around the ship cleaning because the day had managed to destroy the cleanliness of our beautiful salon. When dinner strolled around, the franks and beans had disappeared due to the voracious appetites onboard. It was a lot of fun and a great family time. Our Mia had to sadly depart and was missed for the time she was gone. Because we were all so distraught, we decided to cheer ourselves up with some games. From heads up, seven up, Mafia, and among us, things got a little sus. Our own Adrienne and Mario had betrayed us by acting in the roles of the imposters. Finally, our Mia returned, and we were back to our beautiful family of 15. This day had been well spent, and we were ready to slip into our deep slumbers for the night. Goodnight, and don’t let the bed bugs bite.
