Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today was mostly a sailing day. We traveled from the Bight on Norman Island to Savanna Bay on Virgin Gorda, which is near Spanishtown. This trip lasted a bit more than five hours. In the meantime, we got to learn the many parts of the boat and techniques used to maneuver the boat. We also learned two knots, the bowline and clove hitch knots. After lunch, we ate PB+J sandwiches and played a number game where you could count higher, but no one had a set number and if two said the same number you would have to start over. We reached 47! That is the highest score I have ever gotten. Then after a while, we pulled into the bay and put down our anchors for the first time. Lastly, we got to practice setting up our scuba gear, which was one step closer to our first scuba dive.
