Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Good evening, everyone! We started the day on an adventure from Virgin Gorda to Anagada. Chef Freddy and sous chef Jordan prepared our meals today and started with a lovely creation of french toast, which one might say was perfect, but others might disagree. Our day then really began at the beach, which was a wondrous adventure for us all. Today, we had beach Olympics against three other boats. We all put 100% effort into a tug-of-war, dinghy relay race, fender balancing, and staff rodeo. Sadly, we ended in 3rd place overall, but we participated with spirit in our hearts. Brig got us a first-place finish in the staff rodeo by chasing Arden and Tyler in circles. Tucker carried our team by being a strong base in a tug-of-war. Even though we lost in the relay race, Freddy put up a fight and was a champ by going last for our team.
Everyone was enjoying the time in the water and on the beach. Carson socialized and made lots of new friends with other boats. Then, we all sailed back to Mountain Point, where we would be spending the night. During our two-and-a-half-hour sail, we hit a little storm, and all had fun riding the big waves. Molly was the mom of the group and looked out for everyone. This was very helpful. Greta and Catherine took a nice little nap while Freddy and Jordan prepared lunch. Right as we anchored at Mountain Point, everyone was very eager to jump in. We all vibed together in the water as Alyssa and Molly pointed out all of the Tarpin fish. Rachel learned how to equalize when diving deep down, and so did I. Ella created our boat playlist using the list of songs we all put together, and it is currently playing 🙂 My favorite part of the day was swimming around and taking a very refreshing ocean shower!
