Location: Marina Cay

What’s up, guys! Today was our sail training day! Before setting sail, our bellies were filled with a breakfast burrito filled with eggs, bacon, and cheese. We now start the long journey for the day by motoring over to Spanish Town, where Will, David, Gwynnie, and Bryce expertly docked Glad 2 Be Here in order to refill our water tanks and empty our garbage cans. Today, Gwynnie, Coco, David, and Elle helmed Glad 2 Be Here throughout the journey and rolling waves. After Spanish Town, Clara and Gwynnie raised our sails, and we set our course to the Seal Dog Islands. After the trip around the Dog Islands, Clara, Gwynnie, and Sloane made an expertly crafted lunch of chicken salad topped off with cantaloupe. During lunch, the wind really picked up and made the boat tip over a lot. What a ride! We then brought out our snacks from the previous days and started sharing among ourselves! By 2:30, we were finally at our destination of Marina Cay and anchored our boat right off the private island of Great Camanoe, where Blake was able to save not one, but two plates from being lost to the ocean during dishy pit. Iris and Bryce also had a great time playing card games. Right after taking our ocean showers, we had our dinner of tortellini and salad cooked to perfection by our chefs, Clara and Elle. After eating, we all played a friendly game of hide and seek, which was sought by Bryce, where David was able to be the last one to be found. However, Lilly and Gwynnie definitely deserve an honorable mention, hiding in one of the rope+snorkel gear bins. To top off the calm day, Coco, Anna, and Ellery made cookies for the entire boat to munch on. Supa chill.
