Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Howdy! Today, we started the day off pretty chill with bagels and yogurt (mmm mmm mm). After our breakfast, we began a long sail to Cooper Island. We hit 7.5 knots! During that mildly bumpy sail, we all studied very hard on our rescue knowledge reviews. Finishing early, we all hung out on the roof or took naps. Once we finally arrived, we prepped for a fun dive. On that dive, we saw a huge trumpetfish and a pretty parrotfish. At the end of our dive, we learned some new self-rescue skills. Back on the boat, a lunch of sandwiches was waiting for us. After lunch, we got back underway to Savannah Bay. We all took very nice naps during our sail. Once we got to the anchorage, Lila, Riley, Asa, and JJ went and did water sports. We all went swimming afterward and took some nice pictures with everyone. Our chefs, Tatum and Riley, made some tasty Alfredo pasta with hot dogs. We had perfectly cooked garlic bread on the side as well. We just finished doing our squeeze (on the roof!), and everyone is cleaning up right now and listening to music. Once that is finished, we will have a rescue dive chat.
