Location: Sommer's Beach, Tortola
Good Morning from Good Times!! Today, we woke up at 7:00 am to the whole boat feeling a little congested (staff note: some stuffy noses, nothing to worry about), and then we got our PFDs on for a sail to Monkey Point. While we were underway we ate some scrambled eggs for breakfast made by Pablo and Alex. We slowed the sail trip to get all the tanks filled up. While the Dolphins did their project dives, Neptune had a fun dive. There are two project groups in the Dolphin program. One group is Emma, Nina, and Mimi, who are studying if depth has an effect on coral bleaching, and the second group is Stormy, Alex, Humphrey, and Ben, who are studying if the amount of coral affects the phosphate and nitrate levels. Henry was finally able to dive again, and while on the dive, Stormy, Alex, and Humphrey saw squid. Humphrey got jumped by Mimi and Emma underwater, and Ben, Nina and Ruby learned how to do sailing knots and succeeded in each of them. Once we got out of the water, we got our sails up and sailed to Sommers Bay. While we were underway, we had lunch, which was Tuscan White Bean Soup, and Humphrey, Pablo, and Diego had noodle soup. After lunch, we made it to Sommers Bay, and all of the Neptunes went off for a lecture while the Dolphins had some free time. While Neptunes went to Pure Joy III (another boat), Forever For Now (another boat) came onto our boat to hang out and do some wakeboarding with the Dolphins. Then the Neptunes came back, and we all took showers. Once everyone was dry, Forever For Now was driven back to their boat, and we got ready for the barbecue. During the barbecue, Ben, Henry, Humphrey, Pablo, and Diego played football on the beach, and Nina met up with her sister. The barbecue lasted from 6 pm to 8 pm. Once we got to the boat, everyone took a Hibiclens shower, and then we got ready for bed.
