Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
One word for the day. Frat. Another word. Awesome. The only problem that we had today was that (seaweed algae) Elin lost her PFD (super important life jacket), but!!! Turns out that (cranberry juice) Margot accidentally had it on when she was helping Luke with bringing the dinghies back to the main boat. All was well :). Speaking of life Jackets, we started our day at 6:30, as we started sailing early. At that time, Sam and I started working out to get that summer body. We also lived our pregnant Rihanna lives at The Baths on the island, Virgin Gorda. Bella, George, and Sam went rock climbing, and I took videos of Molly, Grace, and Maci jumping off the rock, which took a twenty-minute adventure through caves made by boulders to get to. Then, we set sail for Spanish Town, which was the first time we had our feet on the ground since we started. On the island, we went to a restaurant called The Bath and the Turtle, and I have to say, having cold water for the first time in almost a week was awesome.
Margot and I had the wings, and she said, “The wings slapped,” and I agree. Aside from the amazing food, we all went to the convenience stor,e and Kellen got Lucky Charms and Oreos. Margot got some pretzels! After the island, we came back to the boat, and I played cards with Ada, Sam, George, Maci, and Grace, and unfortunately lost my 6-game winning streak for BS. Ada and George did a superb job making dinner, which Janeorelin and Chloe enjoyed. For dinner, we had a guest! Jake Steward visited us from the staff boat, and we set up a boat initiation for when he arrived. We made him drink a cup full of a mystery drink (syrup, Gatorade powder, mustard, spices), and then he made us each have a spoonful of Matouk’s hot sauce. The squeeze question of the day was, what was the spiciest thing that you have eaten?
