Hello! I’m Maci Schlesinger, writing the blog for today because I’m the skipper. I also got camera duty and took pictures constantly. Everyone slept in various places; Bella, Chloe, Sam, and George slept on the trampoline at the front of the boat, Maci, Jane, Margot, and Kellan slept on the blue lagoon, Ada and Jacob slept at the very top, Molly slept on the stern, and Grace in a bed inside the boat. We woke up at the typical 7 am with blasting music, of course, and ate pancakes. Then we did hands-on learning on scuba diving gear. We set sail shortly after, and today was a big, long sail day. Everyone stayed clear of sea sickness, thankfully. We stopped for a lunch and swim break. Then we had a backflip and back dive competition/learning taught by Annika herself. Jacob will definitely get the hang of it one day, and Sam and Kellan took the top for the best ones, and Maci could front flip. We then set sail again, and throughout the day, we all participated in different parts of the sail. While sailing, and once we anchored, many card games were played, including poker, BS, and Gin. The most intense and longest game was BS, where Jacob won and Maci took 2nd. We all had fun playing, and Jacob taught half the boat how to play poker, including me. Before dinner, we had our ocean showers plus snorkel masks to explore. The chefs today were Jane and Margot, and they killed every meal. Dinner was super good. We ended our night with a scuba diving video and quiz. Adios!
