Hey!! This is Nikki. This morning, Margret, Aden, and Luke had a staff meeting, so all of us were on our own to make breakfast. Teagan and Charlie were chefs, but Charlie woke up late, so everyone kinda got to help out in the kitchen. Margret was so kind and woke us up early so we could make the pancakes. We ended up making most of the pancakes way too buttery and burning the rest, so I guess you could call us 5-star chefs 🫢. Since we’ve been really bad recently and haven’t been listening to Margaret, we decided to deep clean the ENTIRE boat!! Thank you to Lio, Brooks, Liam, and Levi for doing most of the work. We all feel so proud of ourselves now!
Following breakfast, we sailed to shore to stock up on a few snacks. Lio, Teagan, Jade, and I have especially been flying through snacks, but I am so grateful that we got shore time. For lunch, I had chicken tenders and fries, followed by two slices of pizza. I bought Tostitos and some crackers. Since we went on shore, I got to see my sister and talk to her; she tried teaching me how to play a few games, but they didn’t make sense to me. 😑 Lio and I went to talk to some locals and made new friends with some people on the island. They were very welcoming and really nice. After that, Levi tried paying a stranger for fake Gucci glasses, but he said he was paying no more than $80 for them, but the other guy wanted $1000. So obviously it didn’t work out. It was pretty chill, though.
Afterwards, we sailed out a little more, and while we were doing that, I got to read and take a power nap. After we sailed to this really beautiful place called Musk Melon. We took showers, and for the FIRST TIME, there were NO jellyfish in the water. I was sooo grateful for that too. After showering, we had dinner, and since I’m the skipper, I get to come up with a question to ask everyone at dinner( and of course write the blog). My question was “if the person to the left of you were any object, what would they be?” The boys had a fun time with that 🤪. Once dinner was done, we decided that we were all gonna play a game of spoons. But during cleanup, since I had extra time after writing the blog, I decided that I was just gonna watch the sunset. Something about how perfectly the sun hits the water always gets to me. 🌅 That’s it for my section! Bye besties! 🫶
