Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today was a scuba day, so most of the day was spent practicing and testing for our scuba certification. We woke up around 6:50 am and ate bagels and yogurt for breakfast around 8. After we ate, we headed onto a dingy to go to Amused (the dive boat) for two open water dives.
We studied and tested from about 10–12 am before eating a tasty soup for lunch. After lunch, we made sailors knot bracelets, and Charles, Brij, and Max practiced other knots on the Amused sailing lines as. At 3 pm, we started to get ready for another two dives. The scuba groups were Reid, Libby, Reece, and Brij, with Kaleigh. Then Dalila, Max, and Enya were with Amanda; Georgia, Sophie, Reece, and Eliza were with Mackenzie. The groups worked on swimming without a mask, replacing our gear mid-dive while underwater, breathing with a leaking regulator, and giving our buddy emergency air.
From 4:30–5 pm, all of us got ready to head back to our boat. From 5:30–7 pm, we had free time, except for the chefs who were making a yummy Thanksgiving-themed dinner. At 7 pm, we ate before cleaning up and getting ready for bed. Goodnight!
