Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today was a pretty good day, and a lot happened. In the morning, we had sailing practice with four groups of three. I would love to tell you about the groups, but I forgot! We practiced tacking and helming. After practice, we took off to a very pretty spot around The Dogs and ate a lunch of sandwiches before taking a swim. Libby, Eliza, Georgia, and I all attempted to do backflips, and most were successful. After the swim, we went to the spot where we were going to spend the night, around Scrub Island. Both of the Reeses were on our dock team, which meant they went on a dingy to catch the lines for the boat to dock. We refilled the water for the next couple of days. Max went crazy with the broom later and cleaned every inch of the back deck. Enya helped sail throughout the day! Charles and Brij dug into their books during their free time, while Sophie and Dalila had been singing and dancing to music (Taylor Swift) all day. We’re all excited to go diving again soon and complete Open Water Dives 3 and 4. See you later!
