Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Today we started off with an early sail to The Baths, having yogurt and bagels for breakfast. We then took a dingy to the island, with Louella, Blake, and Scarlett able to reunite with old friends from last year. After a hike along the rocks, Luke and Matthew hit some sick flips while cliff-jumping into the water. Once we spent some time in the water, we went back to our boat and took our first full freshwater shower. For lunch, we sailed over to Spanish Town, where Brendan got to see his brother for the first time since our session began. We had a delicious lunch on shore as a group, and Daniel even got to communicate with the locals using his Spanish. After our lunch, we walked down the block to get ice cream. Back on the boat, we took our final sail of the day to Vixon Point, where I was able to drive the boat as Micah and Violet helped maneuver the sails. Once we arrived, Cobrin assisted in dropping the anchor in order to finish up the night by rafting with Avizia, a fellow sail side A boat.
