Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay

Hey, parents, it’s Kai writing the blog again. Today was a day of mostly sailing and hanging out on the boat. We started the day off still in the mega raft with pancakes made by Luke, Amelia, and Landon. After breakfast, we had our knot test, where Alex really showed everyone up. After our test, we set sail, which was mostly a test day where Arden asked us questions and watched us as we sailed. Eli did really well with the mooring balls and will definitely pass his test. After finishing sailing Christina and Carla took a long nap and woke up once it was lunch. After lunch, we were allowed to swim, so Charles and Drake dove in. When Carla got in the water, she dropped her goggles, so Juni and I tried to dive down to get them, but instead of goggles, I came up with a bowl I found on the ocean floor. After swimming, Chase and I took a nap while we sailed to Sandy Spit Beach. Once we got there, some people hung out in the water, some on the sand, and others went to look for shells on the rocks. Landon found a very cool bright green shell and lots of other colorful shells. After the beach, we went back to the boat, and we all took ocean showers. Charles flipped off the dingy multiple times. After showers, Amelia and Drake cooked up dinner, and when Christina tried to climb through the window, it came crashing down. After dinner, the advanced sailers had a sail talk, and the beginner sailers just hung out while Garrett taught sailing. After the sail talk, everyone hung out till we all went to bed.
