Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island

First late wakeup, 6:50! After our glorious rest, we made delectable french toast with no help from staff. We lifted anchors and raised the sails, again with no help. We sailed by splitting ourselves into groups named Alpha and Beta. Communicating through walkie-talkies, we were able to sail to Trellis Bay, tack, and jibe. After sailing practice, we arrived in Trellis Bay and were greeted by Oreo, Cherry Pie, Lion, Puma, and Blaze (cats we named). Aragon, the owner of the art center and fresh mangoes, sold us some tasty fruit. For lunch, we were in port. Most ate burgers, salads, and fries. Fearing we were late we grabbed our food and ran. Since we were 20 minutes early, we used our phones until the dinghy came and the phones went away. Sharing goods that were purchased, we managed to fit our neon orange life vests over our big bellies. Sailing some more we were able to make it to Muskmelon Bay for some vegetarian chili and a movie. We can’t wait for some more fantastic meals.
